I have 2 young children and so I regularly use the parks & playgrounds in Sandbach. I am delighted that since I highlighted the state of playgrounds in my campaign in 2011 there have been significant improvements to several play areas.

I will continue to press for improvements to play areas and outdoor facilities that encourage children to be active, healthy and have fun.

A skate park/bmx track continues to be demanded by young people in Sandbach. I fully support the campaign for a new skate park/bmx track, but these hopes are being thwarted by a lot of opposition and delaying tactics from some other local politicians.
